Harry Hill's Tea TimeEvery now and then you end up working on a show, which is just non-stop laughs from start to finish! Harry Hill, I'm pleased to say, is one of those shows!
As I hadn't quite finished another contract in time, I started on Harry Hill's Tea Time Season 2, later than others, and missed the recording of the first 2 episodes. I joined for the remainder of the series, however, and subsequently made some of my closest TV friends! Featuring the likes of Trevor McDonald, Gregg Wallace and Twiggy, Harry Hill's Tea Time is a comedy cooking show, featuring a different celebrity each episode. The program ends with the guest having a food fight on stage, with Harry Hill and a 'member of the audience' aka, one of us runners! As a talent runner, I was in charge of looking after the extra guests that featured on the show. From comedians, and Hollywood stunt crews, to singing trios and puppeteers, Harry Hill really does have them all. Filmed out at Sky Studios in Osterley, the show had a live audience, for which I was noted as always filling with huge groups of friends and family - not a bad trait in TV! The show always required a number of extra characters , and naturally the crew stepped in. You can catch me and the gang on several occasions making cameos, such as partying with Harry as you can see on the top right! My true chance to shine came when I was the 'audience member', sitting with a group of family, and got dragged up on stage to have a food fight with Kate Humble, from Spring Watch, Harry and the rest of the cast! |
